Description: An Evergreen, Shrub-like Perennial with a bushy, rounded habit. Fleshy, grey-green leaves are linear to oblong in shape and are held in spirals on upright stems. The flowers are composed of small, central yellow nectaries that are surrounded by bright yellow-green Bracts (involucres). The flowers are held in dense spikes at the tips of the branches and are produced from early into late spring. A striking plant of great garden interest. Attractive to pollinating insects.

Bright, yellow-green cyathia flowers have yellow nectaries at the centres. The nectaries are surrounded by bright yellow-green bracts. The flowers are held in long, dense spikes at the tops of the stems and are produced from March into May.
