Description: A potentially large, Deciduous tree with upright, spreading branches and a narrowly oval crown. Attractive pinnate leaves have ovate to Elliptic leaflets. The foliage emerges vivid golden yellow in spring and gradually matures to bright yellow-green. Pea-like flowers are white and scented. The Blooms are held in pendent Racemes and produced from early to midsummer. The flowers are attractive to pollinating insects, though not reliably prolific. The leaves turn yellow to orange in autumn before falling.

Robinia pseudoacacia 'Frisia' can be pollarded to maintain leaf size and colour as well as overall height.
