Description: A clump-forming, rhizomatous Perennial with an upright habit and branching stems. Smooth, mid to dark green leaves are oblong to oval in shape with finely toothed margins. Larger leaves are held in rosettes at the base of the plant while the stem leaves are much smaller. Daisy-like flowers are composed of pale mauve petals (ray florets) that surround a central cluster of yellow Disc florets. The ray florets fade to nearly white with age. The flower heads are held singly or in small clusters atop upright, branching stems and are produced en-masse from mid-summer into mid-autumn. Good for use as cut flowers and attractive to pollinating insects.
