Flower:
Tubular bell-sh.aped flowers are a shade of pale violet. The blooms are held in upright racemes (that can reach 125cm in height) well above the foliage and are produced in July and August.

Very large, ovate to Cordate leaves a bright shade of yellow-green and will become golden yellow and puckered with age. Each leaf can reach 50cm in length. The leaves are held in impressive basal mounds that can reach well over 1m in spread.
