Description: Climbing Rose

A vigorous climbing rose that is excellent for training against walls or over pergolas. Glossy dark green, pinnate leaves have ovate to oval leaflets with finely toothed margins. Small, semi-double, Cupped rose flowers are a clear shade of rose pink and fade to pale pink with age. Each Bloom has a prominent central cluster of golden stamens and a white Eye. The flowers are held in clusters along the stems and are produced repeatedly through the summer. Attractive to pollinating insects and good for use as cut flowers.

The correct botanical name for this plant is Rosa 'Rum1Cookson'. 'Maid of Kent' is a trademark name.

Small, semi-double, cupped rose flowers are a bright shade of rose pink and fade to pale blush pink with age. Each bloom has a prominent central cluster of golden stamens and a white eye. The flowers are held in clusters along the stems and produced, repeatedly, from June through August.
