Description: A rhizomatous, spreading Perennial with upright stems. Dark green leaves are oblong to oblanceolate in shape and have a leathery texture. Bright, yellow-green cyathia flowers have yellow nectaries at the centres and are surrounded by bright, lime green Bracts (involucres). The flowers are held in spikes at the tips of the stems and are produced from early into late spring, but will remain attractive on the plant into late summer. Attractive to pollinating insects.

Bright, yellow and green cyathia flowers have yellow nectaries at the centres. The flowers are held in spikes at the tips of the stems and are produced from March into May, but will remain attractive on the plant into late summer.
