Description: A medium to large-sized, Evergreen Shrub with a bushy, columnar habit. Small, grey-green to pale green leaves are ovate to oval in shape with wavy margins. Small, bell-shaped flowers are a very dark shade of burgundy and have recurved petals. The flowers are held in small clusters on the stems and are produced from late spring into early summer. The Blooms are scented. This plant is usually grown for its attractive foliage, which is excellent for flower arranging.
