Description: A Deciduous Perennial grass that produces clumps of foliage, but can spread if left unchecked. Long, slender, arching leaves are linear in shape and bright green. Small, lilac-purple flowers age quickly to a tAwny-buff shade. The flowers are held in dense, upright panicles that are produced from mid to late summer, but remain attractive on the plant through autumn. The foliage turns yellow in autumn.

Small, spikelet flowers open lilac-purple and quickly fade to a shade of tawny-buff. The flowers are held in dense, but slender, upright panicles. The flowers are produced in July and August but remain attractive on the plant through autumn.
