Description: A herbaceous Perennial with a spreading habit and upright stems. Smooth, dark green leaves are narrowly ovate in shape and held on tall, red-tinged stems. Large, semi-double, daisy-like flowers are bright yellow and have golden-yellow centres. The petals (technically ray florets) roll inwards at the margins when young and gradually flatten with age. The flowerheads are held singly atop the upright stems and are produced from late summer into mid-autumn. Attractive to pollinating insects.

Large, semi-double, daisy-like flowers are composed of bright yellow ray florets (petal-like structures) that surround a central cluster of orange-yellow disc florets. The ray florets curl inwards when young (resembling loose quills) and gradually flatten with age. The flowerheads are held singly atop upright stems and are produced from August into October.
