Description: A small, Deciduous tree with spreading branches and a domed crown. Ovate to oblong leaves emerge bronze in spring and turn mid to bright green with age. The leaves are tapered at the tips and have finely toothed margins. Bright pink buds open to pale pink, double, bowl-shaped flowers that turn white with age. The pendent Blooms have ruffled, notched petals and are held on long pedicels. The flowers are held in clusters and produced along the branches from mid to late spring. The leaves turn orange and yellow in autumn before falling.

Bright pink buds open to blush pink, double, bowl-shaped flowers that turn white with age. Each of the frilly petals has notched tips. The flowers have long pedicels and are held in pendent clusters along the branches. The blooms are produced in profusion in April and May.
