Description: A medium-sized, Deciduous tree with a broad, spreading crown. Large leaves are ovate to heart-shaped. The leaves are mid-green to dark green and covered in pale yellow to white speckles. White, bell-shaped flowers are frilled at the tips and streaked with yellow and deep purple on the lower part of each Bloom. The flowers are held in panicles at the tips of the stems and are produced in mid-summer. The flowers are followed by long, slender pods. Catalpa speciosa 'Pulverulenta' can be used as a cut-back plant to maintain the large leaf size and control overall height.
