Description: A herbaceous Perennial with a bushy, upright habit. Narrow, dark green leaves are lanceolate in shape with coarsely toothed margins. The leaves are held in neatly spaced whorls on the tall stems. Small, tubular flowers with long stamens are a pale shade of lilac-pink and turn nearly white with age. The flowers are held in spire-like Racemes on the vertical stems and are produced from mid-summer into early autumn. Attractive to pollinating insects.
