Description: A clump-forming herbaceous Perennial with tall stems and an upright, branching habit. Oblong to lanceolate leaves are mid-green, sometimes tinged with purple, and held on dark purple stems. Small, tubular, 2-lipped flowers are a pale shade of violet. The flowers are held in whorls on upright, branching stems and are produced from early through mid-summer. Attractive to pollinating insects.
