Description: A clump-forming, rhizomatous Perennial with a slowly, spreading habit. Grey-green to pale green leaves are linear in shape and held at the base of the plant. Striking, Beardless iris flowers are nearly black (very deep purple) with a slender golden streak on each of the Falls. The flowers are held in pairs atop the vertical stems and are produced in early summer. Scented and good for cutting.
