Description: A herbaceous Perennial with a clump-forming habit and tall, upright stems. Mid to dark green leaves are ovate to oval in shape with finely toothed margins. Bell-shaped flowers are found in various shades of violet-blue. The prolific flowers are held in pyramidal panicles atop tall, upright stems and produced in midsummer and intermittently into autumn. Cut plants back after the first flush of flowers to promote a second, strong flush of flowers in autumn. Attractive to pollinating insects.
