Description: A large, Shrubby, Evergreen conifer with a spreading, upright habit. Rigid, mid-green needles are held in bunches of two on the branches. Attractive pollen cones are held in upright, cylindrical clusters from mid to late spring and are apricot-orange in colour. The seed cones are dark brown and barrel-shaped. Pinus mugo is highly variable and slow growing.

Rigid, mid-green needles are held in bundles of two on the upright branches. Each needle can reach approximately 5cm to 8cm in length.
