Description: Tufted, Evergreen Perennial with an upright habit. Mid to dark green, thistle-like leaves are oblong to lanceolate in shape and have spiny margins. Salverform flowers open white and fade to pink with age. Flowers are produced in tiered whorls in midsummer.

Salverform flowers open white and fade to pink with age. Flowers are produced in whorled tiers in June and July. Each tier of flowers has a collar of pointed bracts at the base.
