Description: A large, Evergreen conifer with a conical habit and stiff, stout needles arranged radially along the branches. The needles curve upwards and are dark green on the upper surface and silvery beneath, giving the tree a frosted appearance. The cylindrical cones mature to brown and can reach more than 15cm in length.
Synonym- Abies baboresis, A. pinsapo barborensis.
Branches are densely packed with short needles that curve upwards, are dark green on the upper surface and silver beneath.
