Description: A large, Deciduous Shrub with pendulous branches. Lace-like palmately lobed leaves with fine leaflets emerge bronze-red in spring and mature to dark green. Small, reddish-purple flowers in pendent Corymbs are produced from mid to late spring and are followed by samaras. In autumn, the leaves first turn yellow, then orange before finally deepening to brilliant red.

Foliage:

Deeply Divided palmately lobed leaves have seven to eleven lanceolate leaflets with Dentate margins. Leaves emerge bronze-red in spring before developing to rich, dark green. Autumn colour begins yellow, then deepens to orange before finally turning brilliant red. The leaves are held in opposite pairs on the branches.
