Description: A medium-sized, Evergreen coniferous tree with a narrow, columnar habit, becoming more expansive with age. Attractive, blue-green scale-like leaves are held on many forked branchlets. Round, female seed cones mature to brown over a period of two years but are usually retained on the tree for longer. The abundant, much smaller male cones are greenish-yellow and held at the tips of the branchlets.
Short, horizontal branches hold many forked branchlets, each covered in flat, blue-green scale-like leaves.
