Description: A medium to large-sized coniferous, Evergreen tree with a pyramidal habit and short, sharp needles. The new growth emerges golden yellow in spring and provides a striking contrast against the mature, dark green needles. The new growth eventually fades to deep green with age. Monoecious. Pollen cones are small, round and yellow. The narrow, cylindrical seed cones emerge bright pinkish-red and age to deep brown in one season. Slow growing.
