Description: A small, Evergreen Shrub with a bushy, rounded habit. Glossy dark green leaves are lanceolate in shape with pointed tips and have a leathery texture. Highly fragrant, creamy white flowers open from red buds in clusters along the stems from mid to late winter. The flowers are followed by round, red berries that turn black as they mature.

Monoecious. Small, creamy white, petalless flowers open from red buds in January and February. The male flowers are very highly scented. The female flowers are produced on the same plant, but separately, and are followed by round, glossy red berries that turn black as they mature.
