Description: A low-growing, spreading herbaceous Perennial. Attractive, blue-green Basal Leaves are finely Divided and fern-like in appearance. Pendent, heart-shaped, rose-pink to pale pink flowers are produced in Racemes from mid-spring through early summer.
The latin word 'formosa' means handsome or beautiful.
Synonym- Dicentra eximia
Distinctive pendent, heart-shaped (flattened pitcher-shaped) flowers are rose-pink to pale pink. Flowers are held in upright racemes and produced from April through June.
