Description: A small Deciduous tree with an upright, rounded crown and glossy bright green foliage. Striking, single bright pink flowers open in late winter and early spring on green stems before the leaves emerge. (Flowers may open earlier in a warm winter and can persist into April in a cool spring.) The Blooms are particularly fragrant on a sunny, still day. The flowers are followed by small round yellow fruits that are too bitter to be edible. The leaves turn brilliant orange before falling in autumn. This cultivar is can be grown as a Shrub or trained as a tree.

Fragrant, bright rose pink saucer-shaped flowers are produced on bare, green stems in February and March, but can persist until April in a cool spring. The beautiful fragrance is best appreciated on a sunny, still day. Flowers are followed by small, round bitter fruit.
