Description: Correct botanical name - Lamprocapnos spectabilis 'Valentine'

A herbaceous Perennial with a clump-forming habit. Triternate foliage emerges maroon and turns dark green with age. Graceful arching stems hold pendent, red, heart-shaped flowers with white tips. Flowers are produced from mid-spring into early summer. The foliage and flowers are held on red stems. Dicentra spectabilis 'Valentine' will go Dormant after flowering.

Arching racemes of reddish-pink heart-shaped (flattened pitcher-shaped) flowers with white tips are produced on red stems from April into June.
