Description: A large, slow-growing Evergreen Shrub with an upright, bushy habit. Glossy dark green leaves are oblong to Elliptic in shape and have a leathery texture. Long, drooping Racemes of tangerine orange flowers are produced in abundance from late spring into early summer. Nearly extinct in its native habitat, and rare in cultivation.

Flower:
Small, cup-shaped flowers are bright tangerine orange. The blooms are held in long, pendent racemes and are produced in May and June. The flowers are followed by round, blue-black berries.
