Description: Clump-forming herbaceous Perennial. Mid to dark green pinnate leaves have ovate to Elliptic leaflets and are held on flattened, upright stems that do not climb. Amber pea-like flowers are produced in Racemes from late spring into early summer. Although related to the well-known Sweet Pea, this plant is not a climber, nor is it fragrant.

Synonym - Lathyrus aurantiacus, L. luteus, Orobus aureus.
