Description: A large-sized, Evergreen Shrub with an upright, bushy habit. Dark green leaves are oblong to Elliptic in shape and have a leathery texture. The new growth emerges red and each leaf can reach to 30cm in length. Fragrant, white, bell-shaped flowers are flushed with pale pink and held in trusses. The flowers are produced from early to midsummer.

Rhododendron decorum subsp. diaprepes is a parent of the popular R. 'Polar Bear'.
