Description: Small, Evergreen Shrub with an upright habit and a rounded outline. Leathery, dark green leaves are rounded in shape and are held close together on upright branches. Panicles of small, fragrant, white flowers are produced from late summer into early autumn and are followed by round, black berries. Slow-growing.
Synonym - Ligustrum japonicum 'Coriaceum'
Small, tubular flowers have four white petals that reflex after opening. The flowers are fragrant and produced in panicles in August and September. Flowers are followed by small, round, black berries.
