Description: Slow-growing, Evergreen Shrub with an upright, bushy habit. Small, attractive leaves are grey-green with white margins and are ovate to Elliptic in shape. Inconspicuous, small white flowers are produced from late spring into early summer. Ilex crenata 'Shiro-fukurin' produces only female flowers, which if pollinated will be followed by round, black berries.
Synonym - Ilex crenata 'Snowflake', I. c. 'Fukurin'
Dioecious. Small, creamy white, bowl-shaped flowers are produced in cymes in May and June. Only female flowers are produced and, if pollinated, will be followed by round, black berries.
