Description: A clump-forming Perennial with an upright habit. Three large, mid to dark green leaves are rounded to ovate in shape and are held in a whorl at the top of each stem. White flowers have three reflexed petals, three incurved and pointed sepals, and a pale pink centre. the flowers are produced one per stem from mid to late spring. The pedicel of each flower has a kink (hence the common name of 'Bent Trillium') which causes the flowers to be held at right angles to the stems.

Cultivation:

Best in partial shade to shade in fertile, moisture retentive soil that is well drained. Unlike most Trilliums this variety will cope with an alkaline soil as long as it is rich in organic matter.
