Description: Small, Evergreen Shrub with an upright habit. Blue-green, pinnate leaves have lanceolate leaflets that are spineless, an unusual trait amongst the Mahonias. Fragrant bright yellow, cup and saucer-shaped flowers are produced in upright Racemes from late summer into autumn.

'Soft Caress' was the winner of The Chelsea Flower Show Plant of the Year in 2013.
