Description: Dwarf, clump-forming herbaceous Perennial with glossy, bright green ternate foliage. Umbels of tiny, bright yellow flowers surrounded by a collar of emerald green Bracts are produced from late winter into mid-spring before the foliage has fully developed.

Named after Mr Balthasar Hacquet, a botanical author who lived from 1740-1815.

Award of Garden Merit (AGM).

Tiny yellow flowers in umbels are surrounded by a collar of bright green bracts that are notched at the tips (involucres). Flowers are produced from February into April before the leaves have fully emerged.
