Description: A hardy annual or Biennial with a bushy, upright habit. Mid to dark green, tripinnate leaves have linear leaflets and a feathery appearance. Lacy compound umbel flowers have many small florets in various shades of pink to burgundy with white centres. The Blooms are held atop upright stems and produced over a long period from early summer into early autumn. Excellent for use as cut flowers and attractive to pollinating insects.
Daucus carota 'Dara' was a chance discovery at the Thompson and Morgan trial grounds.
Compound umbels with many small, burgundy to pink individual blooms, each with a white centre. Flowers are produced over a long period from June through September.

Aromatic, mid to dark green, tripinnate leaves have linear leaflets and a feathery texture. The leaves are mostly held at the base of the plant with few leaves Alternately arranged on the upright stems. The foliage smells of carrots when crushed.
