Description: A clump-forming herbaceous Perennial with a bushy, upright habit. Aromatic, mid to dark green leaves are triangular to ovate in shape with scalloped to coarsely toothed margins. The foliage smells of liquorice when crushed. Many small, tubular 2-lipped flowers are violet-blue with purple calyces. The Blooms are held in dense spikes on upright stems and are produced from mid-summer into mid-autumn. The flowers are very attractive to pollinating insects.
