Description: A clump-forming, rhizomatous Perennial with an upright habit. Mid-green, lanceolate leaves have serrated margins and are arranged in opposite pairs on the square, upright stems. Bright pink, tubular flowers are produced from midsummer into early autumn. The common name, Obedient Plant, can be explained by the fact that the flowers are able to be pushed into different positions around the stem, where they will remain. Excellent for use as cut flowers and attractive to bees and butterflies.
