Description: A Cormous Perennial with an upright habit. Long, pleated linear to sword-shaped leaves are a bright shade of mid-green. Trumpet-shaped flowers are bright, vivid red. Each Bloom has a golden yellow throat. The flowers are held in branching and arching spikes and are produced from mid to late summer. The flowers are followed by attractive green seedheads. Excellent for use as cut flowers.

Upward-facing, trumpet-shaped flowers are brilliant red with yellow throats. The flowers are held in spikes on arching stems and are produced in July and August. The flowers are followed by attractive green seedheads. 'Lucifer' is one of the earliest flowering Crocosmias.

Cultivation:

Best in full sun to partial shade in moisture-retentive soil that is well-drained.
