Description: A short-lived Perennial with wavy (sinuate), grey-green leaves. Branched spikes of bright yellow flowers with reddish-purple centres are produced from mid-summer into early autumn. The whole plant is covered in fine white hairs. An unusual late flowering Verbascum that is attractive to bees and butterflies.

Flower:

Bright yellow, saucer-shaped flowers have clusters of stamens covered in purple-red hairs. The flowers are held in branched spikes from July into September.
