Description: Clump-forming Evergreen Perennial with long, linear leaves that tend to bend and arch downwards at the middle. Oval-shaped spikes of vivid orange-red, tubular flowers fade to yellow with age and are produced on strong, upright stems in autumn.

Flower:
Tubular, orange-red flowers in oval-shaped spikes are produced from September through November. Flowers open from the bottom of the spike upwards and fade to yellow with age. Often spikes will have both yellow and orange flowers at the same time.
