Description: Clump-forming annual grass with bright green, arching leaves. In early summer pale, silvery-green panicles, flushed with pink are produced on upright stems. Long Awns give the flowers a soft, feathery appearance. Good for use as cut flowers.

H. jubatum may be a short-lived Perennial in mild conditions.
