Description: Clump-forming annual with arching, bright green foliage, each leaf with a twist. Panicles of rosy pink flowers are deeper in colour and more upright than H. jubatum and flower earlier. Flowers are produced from late spring into midsummer. Good for use as cut flowers.

Soft, silvery panicles are flushed with deep rosy pink. Long awns give flowers their soft, feathery texture. Flowers are produced from May into July and fade to beige with age.
