A bulbous Perennial with an upright habit. Grey-green to mid-green Basal Leaves are broadly ovate to lanceolate in shape and pointed at the tips. Single cup-shaped flowers are a bright shade of violet-purple and the margins of the petals fade to lavender-purple with age. Each Bloom has a green base. The flowers are held singly atop upright stems and are produced from mid to late spring. Excellent for use as cut flowers.
