Description: Small, Deciduous tree with variegated, palmately lobed foliage. In spring, the new leaves emerge bright, coral-pink, marked with green streaks and speckles. The foliage then turns creamy yellow and green and speckled white. Small, inconspicuous, yellow-green flowers are produced in drooping panicles in the spring and are followed by winged fruit (samaras). Slow growing.

This tree will be used as a cut back plant in the East Border to control height and promote larger leaf size.

Foliage:

Palmately lobed leaves with five Dentate and pointed lobes and red petioles. The new growth emerges bright, coral-pink with green blotches and speckles and turns to creamy yellow and green, marked with white speckles for the summer. The leaves are held in opposite pairs on the branches.
