Description: Herbaceous Biennial or short lived Perennial with tall, upright stems and dark green foliage. Cross-shaped lilac flowers are held in Racemes and turn to a beautiful shade of purple-blue with age. Flowers are produced in late spring to mid-summer and are fragrant in the evenings. Good for use as cut flowers.

This plant is considered a short lived Perennial, but is best used as a Biennial as flowering decreases with age.
