Description: A Rugosa hybrid rose with an upright, bushy habit. Mid-green, pinnate leaves have Elliptic to oval leaflets with serrated margins. The leaves have a wrinkled or creased appearance. Double, Rounded rose flowers are bright magenta-purple with ruffled petals. The flowers are intensely fragrant and produced continuously from early summer into late autumn. This cultivar produces relatively few round, red hips, but does feature vivid yellow autumn colour. Excellent for use as cut flowers.
'Roseraie de l'Hay' was named after the famous garden of Jules Gravereaux, l'Hay, in France.

Double, rounded rose flowers are bright magenta-purple and fade to a lighter shade with age. The blooms have ruffled petals and are intensely fragrant. The flowers are produced, continuously, from June into November and are followed by few round, red hips.
