Description: A native Biennial with an upright habit and slender stems. Mid to dark green obovate leaves are held at the base of the plant with fewer, smaller and narrow leaves held on the flowering stems. Bell to star-shaped flowers are a vivid shade of violet-blue and tend to be paler towards the centre of each Bloom. The Blooms are held in panicles on upright stems and are produced from late spring into midsummer. Attractive to pollinating insects and not often seen in cultivation.

Bell to star-shaped flowers are deep violet-blue with paler shading towards the centres. Each bloom is approximately 3cm across when open. The flowers are held in panicles on upright stems and are produced from May into July.
