Description: A clump-forming, herbaceous Perennial with a bushy, upright habit. The narrow, oblong to lanceolate foliage emerges orange-red in spring with a pink central vein running down the centre of each leaf. The leaves fade to dark green with age and are held on deep reddish-brown stems. The flame-like flowers are composed of small, yellow cyathia surrounded by vivid orange Bracts. The flower heads are held in Cymes at the tips of the stems and are produced from late spring into early summer. Attractive to pollinating insects.
