Description: Medium-sized Deciduous Shrub with a bushy habit and dark green, ovate leaves. Lacecap flowerheads have a central cluster of small, lavender-blue, fertile flowers, surrounded by a ring of larger, showy, rose-pink sterile florets. Flowers are produced from midsummer into autumn and are good for use as cut flowers and drying. On soils with a pH of 5.5 or less, the flowers will be blue instead of pink.

Lacecap-like corymbs with a central cluster of small, lavender-blue fertile florets surrounded by a ring of showy, rose-pink, sterile florets are produced from July into September. Flowers will be blue in a more acidic soil.
