Description: Clump-forming tuberous Perennial with upright stems and mid-green, lanceolate leaves. The funnel-shaped flowers open from orange-red buds and are comprised of six petals. The three outermost petals are bright orange, flushed with pink and have small green tips. The three inner petals, two of which point upright, are yellow at the base, orange at the tips, and are marked with a series or short, dark lines. Flowers are produced throughout the summer and are excellent for use as cut flowers.
Flower:
Deep orange-red buds open to funnel-shaped flowers with six petals. The three broad, outermost petals are bright orange, flushed with pink and have a small, green pointed tip. The three innermost petals are yellow at the base, orange towards the top and are marked with a series of short, dark lines. Two of the three inner petals point upright. Flowers are produced on upright stems from June into August and make long lasting cut flowers.
