Description: Tuberous Perennial with an upright habit and arching, grey-green Basal Leaves. The pale yellow orchid-like flowers are composed of one hooded upper petal and two lower lobed petals. Flowers are produced in short spikes before the leaves have fully emerged in early summer. Roscoea cautleyoides is named for its resemblence to the Cautleya orchid.
